We all have to admit that the Balenciaga Triple-S sneakers are the most hyped up sneaker trending right now specially on Instagram. No matter the high retail price of 850 USD it still sold out online and in-store hours later, people queuing for the chance to cop a pair definitely defines the hype.
Despite the ugliness of the Triple-S its that ugliness that sells it to the people. The trend of chunky sneakers has definitely hit 2017 by storm and we will see more of these types of design from more known fashion Designers.
Zara has definitely hopped on this chunky sneakers design trend and has come out with a design that mimics the Triple-S aesthetic. Comparing the Triple-S to the cheaper Zara version you can clearly see some similarities but the price does not come to par with Zara with the retail price of 35 USD.
There is no doubt that the Balenciaga Triple-S is not for everyone but if you want to get that chunky sneaker aesthetic then the Zara MULTI-PIECE SNEAKER may be the smarter pick up than skipping your monthly rent for your apartment.
